Dividends Paid

Question: Can cash dividends be normally paid on shares of treasury stock?

Answer: what would the point of that be? you (the firm) would just have to pay tax on money that you moved from one pocket to another pocket.

i’m sure you can probably set it up that way, but i don’t see why you’d want to.
